²⁹ The next day he *saw Jesus coming to him, and *said, “Behold, ^(A)the Lamb of God who ^(B)takes away the sin of the world!

³⁶ and he looked at Jesus as He walked, and *said, “Behold, ^(A)the Lamb of God!”

²⁸ and he was returning and sitting in his ^[a]chariot, and was reading Isaiah the prophet. ²⁹ Then ^(A)the Spirit said to Philip, “Go up and join this ^[b]chariot.” ³⁰ Philip ran up and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” ³¹ And he said, “Well, how could I, unless someone guides me?” And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. ³² Now the passage of Scripture which he was reading was this:

³⁴ The eunuch answered Philip and said, “Please tell me, of whom does the prophet say this? Of himself, or of someone else?” ³⁵ Then Philip ^(D)opened his mouth, and ^(E)beginning from this Scripture he ^(F)preached Jesus to him.

¹⁹ but with precious ^(A)blood, as of a ^(B)lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.

⁶ And I saw ^[a]between the throne (with the four living creatures) and ^(A)the elders a ^(B)Lamb standing, as if ^(C)slaughtered, having seven ^(D)horns and ^(E)seven eyes, which are ^[b](F)the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
